This design for the Bernheim apparel design was chosen during a call for artists in 2020. This image was specifically designed to create awareness for the research forest of Bernheim and how it has evolved into a special place that community values and visits often.
I developed a series of graphics from a collection of fall/winter natural objects on walkabouts during a fall/winter part of my life in Kentucky. I used a copy machine to generate a graphic image that I then modified on a graphics program. I continue to use these images throughout my work, screen printing them on fabric, enlarging them with projections etc. I keep an archive library of natural imagery on my travels to promote awareness for the conservation of our lands.
