Yin Vessel Series
Yin Vessel series invites the viewer to look beyond the beautiful gilded surface into the center. There is an opening and the mystery awaits as anticipation unlocks our desire to know. Lean in. The center can hold an object on black sand, a gathering of aromatic plant life, contained essential oils.
Interactive Ritual – Included in your investment in this artwork is black sand to place in the bottom before burning.
Separate the two compartments - remove the mystery object - write your story on paper, say a small prayer of surrender, light the paper on fire and place it on the sand to burn - close the compartments if you like or watch it burn.
Burning may cause discoloration in the gilding. The vessels may be used for burning cone incense.
